This board is Socket 754, and can't do Dual Core (maybe a mobile dual
core, but I doubt the bios would like it).

Before you reboot the router, you might try repairing the network
connection. Network Connections, right-click the wireless connection,
select Repair. Every few days the wireless adapter in my laptop
stops responding, and the Repair action fixes it.
