awhile back I remember discussion about a firmware flash to enable lightscribe in my 3550a, now that I have two of them I do not mind attempting to play here even though Lightscribe enabled burners are not expensive. My 3550a seems to be drying up. Been putting LiteON in customer boxes, do like

I also have a r200, does a good job but is sometime fussy on loading. The casio looks interesting, just figured if I could fiddle with lightscribe for grins. Happy with printable disks and my r200. I too ( lately) do not seem to do much printing but for awhile was doing a lot of DVD labels. fp

In the last Autoupdate I installed IE7 but declined Media Player 11, because of all the DRM issues. Am I right? Should I stay with 10 or is this a worthwhile update?

Thanks for the clarification. I guess I am just used to looking at the re-install figures of a bare, unpatched, clean install of Win98SE, and the fact that my Image on that still fits on a single CD-R. grin. I'll have to clean up the trash, and see what that system logs in as after fully patched
