I use, and recommend, a Linksys BEFRSx41. It's reasonable and they have
always been very reliable. Others folks on the list will have some other
good ideas as well.

I grow tired of killing and recreating dial-up connectoids when they, for
whatever reason, forget either my UName or PW. Have talked to my ISP
good question, .pwl files were 98 password files and too easy to hack.

The latest episode of Season 3 which aired over the weekend was
freakin awesome. One of the best episodes of any sci-fi show ever. I
really, really hope the rumors about the show coming to an end after
next season are not true.
