7950GT is the fastest AGP I believe. It is made by XFX, but buyer beware
because many of these cards are defective. I had to RMA my card 2 times
before I got one that worked properly. My first card had artifacts and my
second card the DVI (B

I am doing a new build on a old box. This PC uses a ATI All in Wonder
X800 which has been problematic for my setup. And since Paypal/Newegg
is having a 20 percent off sale, I am thinking of getting rid of it,
and getting a Nvidia AGP, with a Haupagee dual tuner PCI video card.

The encoding was mentioned on one of the links that was posted here.
Some encoding is marginally better, some much better. Do you have any
comparison timings? Of course I will have the option of setting up
dual boot.

Yes, I'll go peek at the FVS114 even though I doubt that I will use
the VPN stuff (except to give my Sister another route to the www).
Yes, I do realize that forums tend to bend negative. I tend to close
one eye when I do this type of research... :)

I have been using Stickies (http://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/stickies/)
which I really like because they are easy to add, change, and have
styles you can set for different categories. The problem is I use my
laptop at work and would like to have my sticky notes sync'd
automatically between each.

Thanks Thane,
I'll go check both of them out again. Last time I looked the RP614 seemed
to have a large number of negative user comments (well, at amazon.com
anyway.).

Yes, J. I am wearing mine right now. And will continue until I
get this thing figured out and working. I look at my router's log
file each morning. It looks like I am getting hammered from
servers in China. So far, the f/w seems to stop it all.

For those of you who surf with third-party cookies disabled to try and
minimize the ways people can collect personal info there is a pretty
disturbing new method being used by Paypal and Doubleclick to do this.
It completely gets around any sort of cookie blocking or filtering.

That would mean Linux users are out.
Anyway, not a biggie, I guess you can run it through wine without issues.

Windows that you use to configure it. Different, but haven't had any
trouble. The client has both idiot-proof wizards and advanced manual
configs.
