Steve,
You remain yards ahead of me on this one. I'll accept your share.
After reboots, CClearner, and, checking my Admin's dt, I just gave up
and waited ~2hrs for all the "fluff" to settle. Got lucky. TB312 works
now.

I *think* that there is probably one .dll that is used by both Tbird
and Firefox. When they try to update that file, and they don't at every
update, the installer will cry that TBird is still running, even when it
isn't.

Anthony,
I am an old Eudora user. TB is vastly different to me.
I am still getting used to its' quirks.
I think this may be my 2d or 3d experience with OpenSource business,
however you choose to define OpenSource.
I do updates badly. I over-analyze what I am told to do.
My bad.

I am now doing v3.1.2 TBird.

Thanks. I thought I did that, but I will try again to go cold.

Sad you keep having problems, Duncan. I use TB on two systems and it

I use v3.1.1. I have dl'd v3.1.2. I am now stuck in a fatal loop
trying to install 312.
The 312 install points to the proper install point, BUT, warns m
Cat6 is rated for more bandwidth (Mhz). The twists might be closer and the
copper thicker, but other than that it's the same.
If you purchase Cat6 cable and have terminators, you can make your own just the
same as you would with 5/5e.

I think the differences are the shielding of the wires and all so they can

All my 3 desktop motherboards, both old and new, are high end and all
came with multiple Gb NICs. I am not sure why, and have often
wondered if there was any use for this other then maybe in a large
office with multiple networks, or if you wanted to use your PC as

necessary to do this. I want to replace and end of a factory made
CAT6 cable with a new connector because the existing one lost it's

exactly the same for the purp
