Sounds like you have buggy software coupled with bad memory or a flakey
overclocked CPU or a bad psu, just on the verge of working or crashing with
that junk software pushing it over the edge. It's probably corrupting one or

And the pro has a 800 firewire, aluminum case, larger screen and better
speakers. I am happy with my MacBook though. It's smaller than a pro and has
all of the features I need, plus since it was so much cheaper I was able to max
the ram to 2 gig and get the accessories for less than 1500.
Hasn't Lenovo made ThinkPads even before they bought the name from IBM?
