A friends experience near my area may be an indication
of things to come for you...
The very people out in the sticks that were left out of such things
as Touch Tone for many years were the first to get FiberOptic
from the local baby bell... (Verizon.)

The article claims that a 60 mile Wi-Fi range is achieved with unmodified
hardware and that only the software has been changed.
If that's the case it doesn't matter if Intel releases this in third world
countries (OOPS, I meant to say, emerging markets), the software
modifications will end up
