Thanks for the link. One system did get updated to Win10 manually. I had
thought that it had been trashed entirely, despite being a fully validated
system, it claimed that it was not activated and asked for a key, when I
skipped that, it told me that I had to run the setup from within windows,
so
I've had some windows updates take 12+hours previously, but generally that
means there was something going on with it. I'd suggest

Anyone else having problems with Windows Update?
I have two Win7 systems that are taking forever. I thought it was my
network until I ran update on a Win10 system and it went quick & complete.
