I'd like the sent mail to stored in the Sent folder on the server,
but when I try to tell Outlook 2007 to store it there, it doesn't see
the Sent folder at all (I can see the folder when I login to

Every IMAP server I've used has Sent as a subfolder of Inbox so I'd
suspect the host. I haven't used Outlook with IMAP before though, so I
wouldn't rule it out.

You need to subscribe to the folder, should be straight forward in
outlook. The terminology to Google is subscribe =)

Doesn't work. It also wasn't stable with the iphone we were using it
with so we went back to POP. Looks like a host issue.
That¹s too bad. Later versions of Outlook have vastly improved IMAP
support. Most recently, they¹ve begun to introduce a modified exchange
server (so called Exchange Active Sync) that works very well. I have it
running on Windows 8 and 7 and now a Mac.
