What kind of system did you put that into? I'm still debating if I want to
spend money

I'm pretty sure that all 1650's are at least one dual and one single,
but I

Yes. GPU speed is completely independent of output capability. As time has
gone by, more cards (even slow ones) have become dual-link and even dual
dual-link capable. The 30 WQXGA doesn't just require DVI, it requires
dual-link DVI. That is not to be confused with dual DVI outputs. Dual-link
But that speed only matters when gaming and if you aren't gaming
then it's unrealized speed. Then it's not really the fastest available
This is true, but in the last 4 years I started buying at the top
end, and I don't upgrade very often. When I built the Xeon box I

Performance wise it's x850XT, X1800, X1900, then X1950
Pro which AFAIK
is the highest model for AGP. The x1650 is a waste
lagging behind even
the X800.

Cool chart! Anybody know of something like this for modern CPUs?
What's really sad is that my ATI 9800 Pro doesn't even show up on that
long, long list!

I must admit that I agree with you on the CPU...I can never get enough
and I always try to buy as much as I can afford. I'm also like you with
games...I want to be able to play one every once in a while, but the
fact is I don't. I have a stack of old games sitting in here unopened

Well, that is the thing here. The cheap is 120, and the best AGP is
240. so it isn't that much money. AGP old tech, so I might as well
go with the best. But as far as I can tell ATI doesn't even make a AGP
1950 other manufacturers do with the chipset. So my question is
will this

All in Wonder 800XT. The TV tuner quality is so poor it is worthless.
It does allow me to capture from my digital cable modem, and that
quality is very good.
