It seems like I am always having to hook up someone's HD to my system to
image it or pull data off of it. I am tired of opening my case up,
disconnecting one of my drives, and hooking theirs up.
What I am looking for is some type of PATA/SATA to USB converter that does

I've been thinking of getting one of these too, as I have zillions of
old HDs lying around or I'm trying to wipe one and reload, etc. These
would be a lot easier than openning up an external case to remove one HD
to put in another. I think Cyberguys sells one similar to this one,

Yup, I have one just like that, but different brand name on it. Works
well and I use it for laptop drives almost every week. :)
I even used it to burn to a DVD drive once using a WinPE CD to Ghost my
newly built PC. Worked like a charm connected to a Lite-On DVD/CD/RW
drive.
