Yep. Just hit the "eject" icon in iTunes or unmount the iPod by some other means before pulling it out. You aren't really going to do any harm to it unless it's writing data when you disconnect it - that is your standard "dont remove the disk while we are coping data to it" warning. -- Brian

Ah hah, Parallels caught it and installed it into the XP VM. Once I killed that app everything seems to be working. -- Regards, joeuser - Still looking for the 'any' key...
