Radeon X1950XT 256 gets my vote for the best bang for the buck award. Just under $170 and it will kick serious ass in any game @ 1600x1200 or less (XP drivers are very mature, don't diddle me with DX10 and fuck Vista until SP1). AnandTech, HardOCP, PCStats etc. are some of the best review sites
