and reboot the machine and see if its detected when it restarts. that saved me
a few times when I thought my cruzer 256 was dead.

me on more than one occasion on WINXP. The tell-tail sign from my experience
is that the Cruzer device will be visible in "Unplug or Eject Hardw
Depending on your need for security, the Jump Drive Sport's are a good
deal & slim enough to insert w/o using a cable like the SanDisk Cruzer
used (not the mini, the SD card one).
There are also newer Jump Drives in the same size as the Sport but with
other features like encryption, read-only p
FWIW I have been sticking with Lexar and after several
failures of other brands.
Have also started a regiment to eject the drive b4 removal to hope
prevent failure.
