When I was in Library school, I read through the whole run of Judaica 
Librarianship for a class project.  There are many articles on cataloging 
in there (as well as lots of other interesting things) I know of several 
systems for cataloging Judaica (Elazar, Wien, Freidus, Kiev, ...) I don't 
know if anything has been written about their history/use, etc.
