Dear colleaues: I am in need of your help! A member of our Temple heard of a book about a California professor who went to Iowa and spent time at a Kosher slaughterhouse doing research and wrote a book about it. That is all I know. The book is fairly recent. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The Jay Fink Memorial Library at Kol Ami in Tampa Fl has survived very well. We were fortunate enough not to be in any direct paths of all 4 hurricanes. I am not sure how well our South Florida neighbors have fared however, esspecially those in the Palm Beach area. Thank you for checking on all o
