I am pulling together a bibliography of Jewish mystery fiction to serve
as a checklist for readers that would like to read mysteries with Jewish
themes and/or lead characters. I believe that I have found most of the
'usual suspects' such as Harry Kemmelman, Fay Kellerman, and Rochelle
Krisch etc. I am sure that there are authors and titles that I have not
found. If you know of any, please email me and I will share the
composite list with the group. Titles should have either a lead Jewish
character or (as in the Lee Harris titles "The Yom Kippur Murder") a
Jewish-centered plot. The leads may be assimilated but should be
identified or clearly recognizable as being Jewish.
