Hi,

My name is De Herman. I'm a Hebrew calligrapher who received an email of
your request from my friend Amy, the librarian at Temple Emanuel in
Kensington, Maryland. You might check the website: www.johnnealbooks.com
and click on the online catalogue. There's a book titled Hebrew Script,
which looks lovely, albeit a bit pricey. I don't have first hand
experience with it. I have the old Toby book, which I still refer to, and
A Step By Step Guide by Jay Greenspan, which has basic info, though I don't
use it much. There's also a book by Reuben Leaf, called Hebrew Alphabets,
which is a good compendium of hands and fonts, though it doesn't give any
calligraphic instruction. I just found another website with a long list of
books on Hebrew calligraphy: www.nationalfinder.com/jbs/callig.htm

Hope this helps!

De Herman
