A very dear friend of mine has completed a memoir of her life in
Shanghai where she
was born to Jewish parents from Russia.
She grew up during a turbulent political era--civil
wars, Japanese occupation of China, fighting between the armies of
Chiang Kai-shek and Mao-Tse-tung, takeover of China by the communist
People's Republic of China, and the two years she lived under that
regime before being able to immigrate to the United States.
She is looking for an agent for this book, preferably a Jewish
one. Please contact
