SunflowerShalom! One of our teachers just told me about a series of books
by a Jewish author that sounded really interesting, but she couldn't
remember the author or exact titles. All she remembers is that the titles
are usually two words. One novel was about a woman who married a fellow

The author is Naomi Ragen. The Sacrifice of Tamar is the title about
the Orthodox woman raped by an African-American man. Other titles are
Sotah and Jephte's Daughter.
