Dear safranim, I would greatly appreciate an answer to this query: I am told that Alfred Dreyfus wrote the following to his wife, either from his cell before being exiled to Devil's Island or once he was imprisoned on Devil's Island: "Si tu veux que je vive, fais-moi rendre mon honneur."
