Dear Colleagues, Thank you for your responses to my question about an Advanced Copy (galley proof) of a book. Everyone who responded said the book should not be placed in the library, and that it might even be illegal to do so. Almost everyone said that the book should not be used as a prize; one person felt that it could be given to a child if the special nature of the book was explained.
