Several years ago, I set up a do-it-yourself checkout system for a library with about 1500 books. It is still in use and books are still being borrowed and returned. However the library has a limited number of people wandering in.
Now I am at a library with about 15,000 books and there is a lot more traffic. We would probably do this for 2-4 hours on any given day. My question to you is: Has anyone had experience using a do-it-yourself system with this size library?
