Hi again, Aviva-
Forgot this Sefer. Very important.
Guide to the Perplexed by Maimonides (Moreh Nevuchim).
His “ Epistle to Yemen” is also
very significant to a Judaica collection.

So glad! I’m off this
I would respectfully suggest that Sefer ha-emunot v'ha-dayot (The Book of
Beliefs and Opinions") by Saadia Gaon be added to this list. It is one
of the most important books of Jewish philosophy and has been translated
from Arabic into Hebrew and English.

Dear Aviva-
When you say Yeshiva library, who will be the patrons? Only yeshiva students?
Litvish? Chassidish? Modern Orthodox?High school level or above? Is this for
English speakers?
Basically, I would suggest these sefarim and any English translations that are
available.
Tanach Mikraot
Hi all,
I'm looking for a must-have list of sefaria/Judaic for a yeshiva library or
bet medrash. Anyone have anything like that or can point the way to
something similar?
Thanks!
Aviva Adler
