Dear RAS colleagues,

Judy Aslpach at CERL reached out to me this morning to ask me to forward
these surveys to the AJL membership. She acknowledged that at present, CERL
does not have a specific project for Hebraica/Judaica collecting, but asked
that we fill in these surveys anyway (perhaps write "Other: AJL" in the
first question about membership) to give voice to the Judaica collections.

This, I hope, will provide important input to CERL as to how/why they
should be working with us as an area collections group. (And maybe it is
something for us to be thinking about from our end as well!)

Please let me know if you have any questions.

My best,
Michelle

You are invited and encouraged to *forward this survey* to others at your

*The survey will close on Sunday, August 1*. Thank you for your time
helping us learn more about your work!

Thanks to all who responded to the second in this series of surveys about
International Engagement. Below is a snapshot of what we learned this past
week about International Engagement, and a summary of the respondents’
areas of expertise. We received *105 responses*, which is a fantastic
level of participation.
