Mo'adim le-Simcha, Is there a comprehensive and authoritative guide for libraries, museums, collectors, etc. regarding the legal ownership of photographic images of items in a collection (printed books, manuscripts, fine arts objects, etc.) and the use of these images? Dealing with physical vs intellectual ownership, credit attribution requirements, etc.?
I'm looking preferably for a published source, but if anyone can share the internal guidelines used in their institution, I would greatly appreciate it. (If it's not a document or information for public circulation, I would be happy receive it via private email and would make sure to keep it confidential and not share it or any details contained therein with a third party.) Thank you. Best wishes, Ari **************** Ari Kinsberg M.A., Pharm.D.
