The Steering Committee to Oversee the Implementation of the ALCTS Task Force on Non-English Access is seeking nominations, including self-nominations to serve on the newly formed Working Group to define specific scripts and language support in library computer applications. Attached is a copy of the charge with detailed information. There will be between 6-8 Participants in this Task Force. If you or someone you know is interested in serving as a member or as a Chair, please send a message expressing your interest in serving, and also include your vita, to Magda El-Sherbini at [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. The call for nomination will be closed on February 15^th , 2008. The Steering Committee will review the nominations and will contact the selected people.
