Yosi, Regarding recording the information, one approach is to convert the date to the Gregorian date in the 264 in square brackets and a 500 note something like: 880 ## 500-00 Date given as … Haim Haim A. Gottschalk Hebraica and Judaica Cataloging Librarian Asian and Middle Eastern Divisi
