Let me preface by saying that I'm pretty new to emacs, so I apologize in
advance if I've missed something obvious. I'm using emacs 21.3.1 on windows
xp professional.
I've read the SqlMode page on the wiki as well as the sql-help from within
emacs, but I still can't figure out how to do

never mind, everyone... i found my answer at emacswiki... didnt know

I would like to use a python major mode, which emacs doesnt have. I
found and downloaded a package that includes a python major mode file.
Where do I define that particular file so it can be referenced as a
mode in emacs?
