I also had issues with missing icons. I seem to have got at least most
of them (maybe?) with:
- adwaita-icon-theme
- hicolor-icon-theme
in combination with `gnome-icon-theme`.
I also have installed (but suspect are irrelevant, but just in case they
aren't):
- font-awesome
- arc-icon-theme
