And you really don't want to make this list moderated for non-members? Let me explain:
Members can post without any restriction... Non-Members get a mail that their draft is waiting for moderation and then, perhaps 1-2hours later, a moderator sends it to the list... So the list remains open for everyone and the spam is surpressed. I no it was already discussed some times ago, but this solution is perhaps the best one, while it is, like I said, still free for everybody!
