Hi,
I installed Debian GNU/Hurd using crosshurd. When booting for the first
time to single user mode, I get this sequence of messages:
-
/libexec/console-run: /dev/console: No such file or directory
/libexec/console-run: Using temporary console /tmp/console
/hurd/init: /libexec/runsystem term

BTW CVS checkout commands are a bit wrong. Download GNU Mach from
ftp://alpha.gnu.org/pub/gnu/cvs/gnumach.tgz

It is an adaptec but i cannot remember the number, maybe a 2904 or 2704
or something like this (for CD-ROM, not for hd)
Could you explain me or give me an URL to compile a custom Mach?

Hi Guillaume,
What is the SCSI card? I have Adaptec 2940 and the generic kernel doesn't
work with it (booting freezes)
Hi
I'm experiencing a very frustrating problem on my computer:
Hurd does not want to boot. Everything begins quite well, I can see a
beautiful "GnuMach 1.2 starting", many more messages, then it detects
well my SCSI card... then nothing.
Booting process stops...
After this, i removed my tv card
