if you don't get a reply on this, you maybe should try debian-hurd, as
the issues you have may all be Debian related.

(sorry for the wrong subject, I wanted to follow uo my other mail and took the
wrong one)
My files are in /lib/hurd/console. Not in /gnu/lib... that was only from
linux from where I wrote the mail.
I have a Debian System and installed with crosshurd.
Even with setting the PATH with
LD_LIBRAR
(Why did you reply to the xchat thread? Please open up a new thread
with a meaningful subject next time)
Or just rename the subject line like I just did (and you could have
done that instead of continuing with the same subject)
