I'm interested in using gnuplot as well, any idea if its avail? Any
advice on how to set it up (gem to specify in Gemfile, call to
Gnuplot.open?)

It would also be good if our apps had access to a node.js executable,
since execjs would be able to use it to compile coffeescripts in Rails
3.1 when it's released.
