Xylene will penetrate nitrile gloves within minutes, so it's good practice to change gloves when they're wetted with xylene. You can check this yourself by sniffing your hands after pulling off gloves contaminated with xylene, you'll know if a 'considerable' amount of xylene has come through.

We have had the Leica Bond Max for ~3 yrs. The software is easy to learn and, in my opinion, it is a nice combination between the Dako Autostainer (it's openness), and nice heating features the Ventana Benchmark offers. We have no problems using other companies antibodies. After starting a run,
