Face velocity is simply the airflow rate in CFM divided by the area of
the hood opening in square feet.
A smaller opening at the same flow rate gives a higher face velocity.
Titanium tetrachloride in a small plastic squeeze bottle can be used to
generate smoke.

Hello:
Can someone point me on the direction of protocols to fix insect wings that
are quite hirsute. I would like to increase the likelihood of the
preservative actually going through the carpet of setae to actually fix the
interior of the wing. Thanks for any help.
