Those of you that perform cytology's which one of these machines do you
prefer,surePath or thin prep? Any pros and cons of either? I haven’t done
cytology in many years and I’m sure everything has changed as I used to do it

We are looking for a per diem person for our Pathology and cytology department.
This person will be picking up specimens, doing accessioning, making
cassettes, maintaining the grossing room, tissue dumping, assist with FNA's,
prep cell buttons and do cytospins and staining.
Can non-grossing Histotech's gross and perform frozen sections and daily
grossing via telepathology? The pathologist would be at a different location
but guide the histotech to cut tissue via an Elmo Camera.
Any and all comments would be appreciated.
