I was wondering if anyone has microtome opinions they would like to share. We
have an ultramicrotome but I am looking for a microtome that could cut larger
pieces of tissue embedded in plastic. I am hesitant to go with Leica because
service is so expensive but I’m looking for
microtome and not
too long ago a saw one for sale in e-Bay.
Why don't you try looking for it. It will be much cheaper than any modern
horizontal microtome and far better than any new one.

We have a Leica histoembedder that is on the fritz. It works well and is quite
convenient as long as it decides to turn on. Leica is insanely expensive for
any service call and, depending on the price of the embedder, it could be
cheaper to buy a new one.

sulfate. I want to use it as a mordant for Heidenhain's hematoxylin and I want
to buy the solid chemical. I looked for the options on Sigma and the price
