Is your flash tube flashing? Is it old? Spent? We have 6 of them and have never
in the 2 years we have had them seen that problem.

I demoed the VIP 6 and it is a nice machine. I ended up purchasing the ASP 300
from Leica. We liked it so much we are purchasing a second one this week. My 2
cents worth!

We have had the ultras for over a year now and that is a new one. Was the rack
of antibodies not seated properly? Just a thought.

I too swear by Sturkey. It is the only blade my lab buys and uses. My techs
could use any blade they want but they all love Sturkey!

Hi Jo-Ann
We are trying to sell a VIP 3000 right now. It is closed and has really cool
magnets to operate it. It is in good shape and a real work horse. It holds 300
blocks and is a benchtop model.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Thanks

We too use both the IPS and IPC. These are on such an open system we created
our own LIS and now have barcoding from grossing to slide signout.

I would agree with Nicks statement on this. I love Leica and they are probably
even less expensive than say Sakura.

I agree with you Sue. I have 2 lab aides 1 is full time and 1 is part time
neither of which we can spare for hand holding and cassette closing. Our 2
gross techs are responsible for those blocks until they hit the processor. Too
many hands in there causes too many problems.. The potential for
