Has anyone used the same microtome to cut animal tissue as well as human
tissue? We are a hospital clinical Histology lab being asked to provide
research study slides from nonhuman sources. Anyone have an input or
precedence? I couldn't find anything that specifically prohibits this practice

One of our metrics we monitor in our lab is a receive to sign out time metric.
We measure the time the specimen comes to the lab to the time the case is
signed out by a pathologist. We normally run on average 31-32 hours per case
for our inpatients (about 1200 cases per month) but I
