We just found out the powdered non-sterile gloves our pathologists use for
grossing are discontinued per FDA ban. I understand this for exam/
surgical gloves. Anyone know where we might get some. Again powdered,

Does your hospital require working Saturday's? Particularly interested in

Does anyone have experience with using the deparaffinization feature?
Currently we are deparaffinizing by hand. Any problems with the stain
quality or other issues?

We use an "A B C D" system. "A" pathologist does all the grossing for that
day. "B" reads all slides, except endoscopy and outpatient gyn bx's. So
whoever is "A" on say Monday will be "B" on Tues. in other works the

One vendor says they come from Pathco. Another from Personna, but the
actual wrapper on the blade for both say Personna. Are these 2 different
manufactures? Any suggestions?

One of our pathologist has ask me to find somewhere to do this stain. I would
like to send unstained slides for staining only, he will do the intreperation.
