Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown NY has an opening for a histotechnician. This
is a full time day position M-F 7:30 to 4 pm.
Responsibilities include a full range of laboratories duties for a
histotechnician including embedding, microtomy and routine, special and
immunoperoxidase staining.

Is anyone aware of regulations stating that formalin has to be locked up- put
in locked cabinets when not under direct supervision?
Applying to either clinics where specimens are collected into formalin
containers or in the pathology lab?

Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown NY has a gross room assistant position
available. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities include receiving/accessioning specimens, gross
examination of biopsies working with a full time PA, assisting with
frozen sections and general equipment maint
Does anyone know where to purchase cassette holders? Plastic or metal
holders for cassettes - 5 across and 4- 5 deep.
