The above checklist item, ANP.22760, states "The performance of new lots of antibody and detection system reagents is compared with old lots before or concurrently with being placed into service." Neither the question, the note below it, nor the evidence of compliance states that a pathologist has to perform the comparison. What are other labs doing? Are the histotechs signing off on new lots?
