I have been running Movats for years and this is a new problem. I have checked lot #’s everything is the same. The solution is 1% pH 2.7. The slides are in solution for 20 mins, rinse for 5 mins in tap H2O, then in alkaline alcohol (90 ml 95% 10 ml ammonium hydroxide) for 1 hr then rinsed for 10 mins. But after hematoxylin the blue is either gone or very faint. Any suggestions?
