In the market for a cassette printer with barcode capabilities. Tape or
ink? Durability? I currently use the tape and never had issues with fading
/washing/non-readable. Have heard of some issues with the ink on some
units difficult to read esp. with barcodes.

Our department is looking into purchasing a new cassette printer which has the
capability of interfacing with our AP Easy LIS System. I am currently demoing a
General Data ID/Positive CL-01 Laser Cassette Printer and label printer system.

I use the Brady cassette printer. I like it. It cost somewhere around $5000
which includes the label printer and the attachment component. The printer
will also print slide labels that are chemical resistant. The label printer is
