Looking for direction on billing practices - specifically regarding non-gyn
specimens that are screened by a cytotech and then passed on to the
pathologist for sign-out.

We are having debates regarding billing 88173 and 88108 on the same specimen.
Padget seems to reference using 88108 when there is a second specimen, but most
of our scenarios are single specimens.
Anyone want to take a shot at it?
