So I am working for a brand new lab that has been open since September. We
currently perform all our specials by hand (roughly 7 stains; 3 silvers) and
our numbers are starting to shoot up big time on them.
Any recommendations on special stainers and kits that go with them? We are a

You cannot go wrong with the Prisma. I used that in another lab and it was
wonderful.

Our histology laboratory is currently having problems with their
specials stains; in particular the silver stains. Can you please tell me
what instrumentation others in the field may be using for special
stains?
Thank you

I am wanting to explore all my options. I am having some "real" issues
with our automated special stainer and I am considering going to a new
system. Can anyone tell me what systems are out on the market that
preforms hands-free special stains. All options are open. Vendors
welcome to reply.
