If nothing has changed, only 12 union states and the associated state of Puerto Rico require a license to practice histology: California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Tennessee and West Virginia. Massachusetts is not amongst them. Re
