The nissl stain appears very faint in the centre of my sections. (Paraffin = embedded, 7um thick) Is this likely to be a penetration issue? I fixed in 4% PFA O/N before processing - Would that affect it? I left the skull intact, but removed the skin - should I have removed some = of the skull? Any help appreciated!!!!!!
