Malacca, November 6, 1999 (Sinchew)
The Syariah officer who prosecuted Azizan Abu Bakar for khalwat two
months
ago get a shock of his life when he received a death threat along with a
7.65mm live bullet delivered to his house in Batu Berendam, on Thursday.
The letter addressed to Syariah Deputy Public Prosecutor Eri Nizam Abu
Samah, 31, was dropped in his mailbox.
Eri Nizam's said his wife picked up the letter together with water bill
at
the letterbox at 5.30pm on Thursday.
He was gripped with fear and cold sweat after he opened the letter found
the threatening letter together with a bullet.
He had handed the computer-generated death threat letter together with
the
bullet to the police for further investigation.
